Program Outline

 This program produces highly skilled engineers and researchers who make significant contributions to earthquake hazard mitigation world-wide. 
  The program is offered by the Center for Urban Earthquake Engineering (CUEE), the leading institute for education and development of Japan's earthquake risk reduction technology that is known to be the most advanced in the world.
  A student enrolled in the Integrated Doctoral Education Program belongs to one of the six departments engaged in the program. Such students are expected to receive doctoral degrees within 4 years.
