Master of Engineering
This program aims to foster not only foreign students but also Japanese
students who possess high engineering design ability with global views. Degree recipients in this program are expected to participate in
creative and innovative activities of international architects/engineers/ researchers.
All the lectures, degree juries, and administration in this program are
basically offered in English. Intensive practical training such as
field work, research collaboration, and innovative studio, is the significant
feature of this program. The program is enhanced by various measures and
environments including expert lectures and project supervision by short-term
visiting professors from affiliated overseas universities, Web-based lectures
using internet, international exchange workshop for Urban & Architectural
design, IT design station, Teaching Assistantship to foreign research students,
and exchange of students with affiliated universities. These measures and
environments would strengthen the effect of collaborative study and mutual
enlightenment amongst foreign and Japanese students, making the department
more globalized and competitive and generating a strong international network
of young leaders of architects/ engineers/ researchers.
